FPR fans take down these dates...
Tuesday January 22 2008 FPR has received many requests from fans and friends as to when they will be able to see the two 2008 FPR Falcons and catch up with team drivers Steven Richards and Mark Winterbottom prior to the start of the bumper 2008 V8 Supercar Championship Series.
For Victorian and interstate visitors attending the annual Kiwani's Club All Ford Day, which attracts some 10,000 blue oval enthusiasts from all over the country, FPR will also be there, launching the team's all new 2008 season merchandise range. Both team drivers, the FPR Falcons and the stunning FPR B-Double race team transporter will also be on display throughout this very special celebration of all things Ford.
More than 1,200 classic to modern day Fords will be on display from some 30 Ford car clubs and from private enthusiasts who are exhibiting from every corner of the country. Trade stands and a variety of childrens entertainment will ensure that the entire family will have a great time.
The Prodrive team will be using this major Australian Ford event as its official 2008 FPR merchandise range launch, so be sure to meet us at the Deakin University Sports Grounds, located at Pigdon's Road Waurn Ponds, 3216 (Near Geelong) Melway Ref. Map 464 /J5 from 10:00am on Sunday February 17.
Prior to the 2008 All Ford Day, Victorian blue oval fans attending the Small Ford Sunday on February 3 at Cooper's Settlement Historic Village, Bundoora Park, Plenty Road, Bundoora (VIC) Melways Ref: Map 19 / F4 will also be joined by Castrol FPR Falcon driver Steven Richards who is also an avid Ford Escort collector and racer, when not strapped into his fire breathing FPR Falcon.
