RACE LINE-UPS REVEALED

September 13 2008 V8 Supercar Championship Series officials have revealed driver A and driver B identities, meaning Ford Performance Racings drivers now know who they will face in todays L and H 500 qualifying races.

Mark Winterbottom and Dean Canto were named A drivers, after winning a game of ‘paper, scissors, stone’ and will face Mark Skaife, Todd Kelly and Craig Lowndes in this afternoon’s race.

Steve Richards and Luke Youlden will line up against Garth Tander, James Courtney, Will Davison and Jamie Whincup among others.

Each car’s results from the 14-lap qualifying races, worth 50 points each, will be combined to determine where each starts in tomorrow’s L&H 500 enduro at Phillip Island.

Two 20-minute qualifying sessions get under way at 11:45 this morning.
